## Abstract This paper is concerned with some qualitative analysis for a coupled system of five reaction–diffusion equations which arises from a physiology model. The uniform boundedness of the time‐dependent solution is obtained under various boundary conditions. Sufficient conditions are also giv

A two-component reaction-diffusion system is considered. The question of stabilizing to zero one of the components of the solution via an internal control acting on a small subdomain and preserving nonnegativity of both components is investigated. Our results apply to predator-prey systems.
