✦ Synopsis

A theoreticaf analysis of the dissociation of energy-rich triatomic molecules shows that asymmetric dissociation is expected to be the major decay mode. Both experimenti and computational (classical trajectories) results for the pbotofra~men~tion of Cd(CNs)z are in accord with the theoretical analysis.
