✦ Synopsis

Aster pilosus leaves were investigated and found to contain several Aavonoids, as evidenced by thin-layer chromatography. Purification of a crude ethanol extract, followed by polyamide column chromatography, resulted in the isolation of one of the flavone constituents, which was found to be identical with hyperoside (quercetin-3-P-D-mono-galactoside).
