## Abstract Several lines of evidence suggest that psychosis is associated with altered dopaminergic neurotransmission. Dopamine is catabolized by monoamine oxidase (MAO) and catechol‐O‐methyl transferase (COMT). We hypothesized that the genes encoding MAOA and COMT might contain genetic variation
