## Abstract ## Background The results from the published studies on the association of fatty acid‐binding protein 2 (FABP2) Ala54Thr polymorphism with insulin resistance and blood glucose are conflicting. In this meta‐analysis, we investigated the association of the FABP2 Ala54Thr polymorphism wit
