✦ Synopsis
SEP-PAK Cis cartridges are being used for biological sample cleanup for qualitative identification and quantitation of several biochemical components. In this study it is demonstrated that the SEP-PAK Cia cartridges can lx used for plasma and urine sample cleanup for the quantitation of amphetamine and biogenic amines such as phenethylamine, tyramine, and tryptamine. Its utility in gas chromatography analysis using nitrogen detector and nonbiological internal standards is reported. As a quality control measure the results are validated by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Recovery studies are carried out using [ "C]phenethylamine.
