✦ Synopsis

A method was developed for the simultaneous assay of noradrenaline and adrenaline in 7 ml of human plasma. The method involves adsorption of the catechols onto alumina. desorption, lyophilizing.

reconstitution, and injection into a reverse-phase ion-pairing liquid chromatography system. Sensitivity and selectivity are introduced using direct electrochemical detection of the column eluant.

Determination of free fatty acids (FFAs) in control serum and human plasma was carried out by highperformance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection. Peak height for palmitic, palmitoleic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, and arachidonic acids at a detection potential of ؊415 mV vs a saturate
