✦ Synopsis

Phenyl vinyl sulfone and p-tolyl isobutenyl sulfone are convenient reagents for protecting SH groups via the Michagl adduct. Protection and deprotection can be achieved in high yields under mild basic conditions, in protic or aprotic solvents.
