Book reviews 59 sharpen the clinical acumen of trainee and nonspecialist alike.

There is, however, insufficient depth of information to be of great value for Board (Orth) exams and the biomechanics is too basic. This lack of depth limits its value as a reference book and I feel that the senior resident would best view this book as a casual read, rather than a study tome, Its greatest value lies in tis compactness, presentation and readability. It is I think suitable as a general interest read to the junior orthopaedic trainee.
