## Abstract We review recent results on near‐horizon static black hole solutions and entropy in __R__^2^‐corrected __N__ = 2 SUGRA in __D__ = 5, focusing on actions connected to heterotic string compactified on __K__3 Γ— __S__^1^. Comparison with Ξ±^β€²^‐perturbative results, results obtained by using
