Archives in crisis: in 1922 the bulk of Ireland's documentary heritage was destroyed. To debate a proposed merger of the: National Archives of Ireland in to the National Library, this symposiun poses a stark question: what will be the state of Irish archives in 2002 on the centenary of the Four Courts blaze?
