The potential of aqueous two-phase systems for the estimation of moleqular weights of proteins and enzyme-inhibitor complexes has been demonstrated. The method is simple and ra employs extremely small amounts of the test sample. It is based on the measurement oft R id, and e phase transition behaviour on dilution of the system as a funchon of the molecular weight of the molecule or complex under study.
