The title complex, [Zn(C 5 H 3 O 3 ) 2 (C 10 H 8 N 2 )(H 2 O)], has a slightly distorted square-pyramidal geometry around the Zn II ion and forms a three-dimensional supramolecular structure via O-HÁ Á ÁO, C-HÁ Á ÁO andinteractions.
