β¦ Synopsis
The paper presents an approximate analysis of cylindrical shells with edge beams. The shell is detached from the beams, and the deformations of the components are determined separately and equalized with the aid of supplementary forces'Shear Forces T B = tBx and Transverse Forces QB (figure 1). The basic assumption is that the shell and beams are hinge-jointed and the beams are incapable of taking up horizontal forces.

A study is presented of the dynamical behaviour and stability of a cylindrical shell containing and/or immersed in an axially flowing inviscid and incompressible fluid. The internal and/or external flow regions are confined by coaxially located rigid cylindrical walls. The unsteady fluid forces are
The dynamic response of shells plays an important role in structural dynamics. In the present paper, one of the widely used shelis of revolution, a circular cylindrical shell, is analyzed for its dynamic response due to different types of transient loads. ## Abstract The accuracy of stability analysis depends on the accuracy of both the element stiffness matrix and geometry stiffness matrix. Therefore, when carrying out the stability analysis of thin cylindrical shells using the finite element methods will require, firstly, a refined nonβconforming
