## Abstract One new (**1**) and one previously identified (**2**) flavone‐C‐glycosides were isolated from leaves of __Gentiana verna__ L. by means of column chromatography. The columns used were polyamid and cellulose. The structure of the new compound was established as iso‐orientin‐2″‐O‐glucoside
