The p r o g r a m allows the user to initially select submersible or surface models. The choice is then extended: from submersible to borehole or sewage and d r a i n a g e , a n d f r o m s u r f a c e models to seif-priming, multistage and various end suction options. If a duty is then entered, p u m p s w i t h i n t h e sel e c t e d f i e l d a r e d i s p l a y e d , allowing the user a choice of any of t h e f e a t u r e d o p t i o n s together with the full specification details and curve.

Performance curves are displayed giving the user the opt i o n o f f u r t h e r g r a p h i c a l i n f o r m a t i o n on i n p u t power, NPSH and efficiency if required. Typical quotation information~ can be p r i n t e d from the prog r a m m e in t e x t form with supporting performance curve for the selected p u m p which can be sent to the customer.

T h e D i s c o v e r y 2.1 p r og r a m m e is Windows-based and comes on four discs with the supporting manual.
