โœฆ Synopsis

I found the article of Robson et al. (2008) on ''Applied Anatomy of the Superficial Branch of the Radial Nerve'' very informative, and the authors have provided adequate information about its relation with the radial artery. The authors, however, have nowhere mentioned in the article the relationship of the superficial branch of the radial nerve (SBRN) to the brachioradialis muscle (BR).

Compression of the SBRN between slips of the tendon of BR in the forearm has been reported (Turkof et al., 1995;Tryfonidis et al., 2004;Surendran et al., 2006) and may lead to a condition called Wartenberg's syndrome. Anatomical knowledge of such variations is important for neurologists and surgeons carrying out operative procedures in Wartenberg's disease, Quervain's release, and arthroscopy.

The purpose of this study was to determine the length and distribution of the branches of the internal branch of the superior laryngeal nerve (ibSLN) and describe the initial afferent pathway for the laryngeal cough reflex (LCR). ## Abstract In this study, we focused on finding out whether branching patterns of the common fibular (CFN) and superficial fibular (SFN) nerves change throughout the early period of life. The popliteal fossa and legs on both sides of 20 fetuses (13 females and 7 males) were dissected. The ages of
