โœฆ Synopsis

This paper applies the logarithmic theory of plane elastic dislocation to two problems. One deals with a single logarithmic dislocation cut; the second is a dualradial dislocation cut problem. I11 both cases, equations developed by the logarithmic theory are employed to solve the stress potential functions, Then the stresses at some pertinent points are obtained for both cases and compared with photoelastic experiments. In both cases, the analytical solutions agree very well with the experimental data.

The problem of the stress state of a thin elastic plate, containing dislocations and disclinations, is considered using Kirchhoff's theory. The problem of the equilibrium of a multiply connected plate with Volterra dislocations with specified characteristics is formulated. The problem of the flexure
