โฆ Synopsis
The advantages of the storage and handling of atmospheric gases in liquid form are universally appreciated, but their realization depends on the economic justification.
The considerable advance made in the design and production of cryogenic containers, particularly using "wrapped insulation" has resulted in greatly improved liquid conservation, longer service fife and reliability, and lower capital cost.
Many appfications using cryogenic liquids have now become economically and operationally acceptable on a worldwide basis, and this review examines the development and interdependence of the equipment and the application.
