Some results obtained by gas chromatography and high-pressure liquid chromatography in vitamin A analysis are given. In. particular, it was demonstrated that high-pressure liquid chromatography surpasses gas chromatography as an analytical tool for this application.

It is shown that one can predict the adsorption of a binary gas mixture from the adsorption of individual component gases by means of John's isotherm. It is found that the slope and intercept of John's adsorption isotherm for binary mixture is equal to mean of the slopes and intercepts of individual
Analytical forrnulae to express the effect of adsorption of carrier gas in gassolid chromatography have been derived from the theory of non-linear ideal chromatography and the Langmuir adsorption theory, They predict improvement of symmetry in peak shape, reduction in retention volume, independence
In this paper, both the methods of continuous sliding mode control (CSMC) and continuous sliding mode control with compensators (CSMC&C) have been applied to two benchmark structures, namely, a building model equipped with an active mass driver system, and a building model equipped with an active te
This work presents some space decomposition algorithms for a convex minimization problem. The algorithms has linear rate of convergence and the rate of convergence depends only on four constants. The space decomposition could be a multigrid or domain decomposition method. We explain the detailed pro
