โœฆ Synopsis

The semiclassical description of hypertine interactions has been applied to the computation of the net CIDNP effect in multinuclear radical pairs in weak magnetic fields. The method proposed was used for the investigation of the mutual effect of nuclei on CIDNP formation in various magnetic fields. The calculated field dependences have been compared with experiment.

Magnetic field effects on the banded emission from the V 'Bt state of CS2 have been studied. A magnetic field was found to decrease the integrated intensity of the fluorescence excitation spectrum and to shorten the lifetime of a picosecond component. These results indicate that a magnetic field enh
