✦ Synopsis
The method of the rotating disk electrode (RDE) was used for the investigation of the electrochemical properties of a zinc electrode in concentrated solutions of potassium hydroxide saturated with zincates in presence of an admixture of polyethylene glycol (PEG). Potentiodynamic investigations of zinc RDE gave more exact data for such processes as: oxidation, passivation, current oscillation and electroreduction of zinc in the presence of macromolecular compound.
