✦ Synopsis

Earlier MO calculations on homoallyl and homobenzyl cations have been extended to a number of other non-classical ions. These include norbornenyl, norbornadienyl, methylenecyclohexyl and octahydrodimethanonaphthyl cations, as well as trishomocyclopropenyl. A classification scheme for some non-classical cation patterns is suggested, and various unknown species are treated. The omega-method has been applied to some of the species and the question of hybridization has been considered.
