A highly sensitive fluorescence quenching method has been developed for selective determination of hydrogen peroxide based on the catalytic effect of hemin on the o-hydroxyphenylfluorone (a new fluorogenic substrate) and hydrogen peroxide system. Under optimum conditions, the calibration graph was l
