We discuss a numerical method for solving non-linear transmission lines in the frequency domain. Such transmission lines are widely used for communications such as in GaAs integrated circuits and varactor diode circuits. The circuit equations are described by non-linear partial di erential equations

In this letter, the on-surface measured equation of inยจari-(
) ance OSMEI is applied to a class of electrostatic closed-region problem, i.e., transmission lines composed of inner and outer conductors. Since it results in a highly sparse final matrix, and the computational domain is limited to the surface of the inner conductor, the algorithm is ยจery memory economic. Two typical transmission lines are analyzed, and the results show excellent agreement with those of other methods. แฎ 2000

In this article, we present a transmission line application (TLA) MATLAB Toolbox capable of solving the single-stub and double-stub matching problems for transmission lines using the graphical method of the Smith chart. The package handles both the short stub and open stub cases and provides an anal
This paper discusses the effect of the signal pulse waveform on in-line optical amplifier transmission. Under a simple assumption for pulse width evolution along the line, the theoretical expressions of the received signal and noise levels are derived in terms of the initial signal waveform and the
The problem of a transmission line closed on a lumped nonlinear load is analyzed. The problem of obtaining the load reflection coefficient and equiยจalent impedance is addressed and solยจed numerically for generic nonlinear loads and analytically for a diode.
