Abstract

In this paper a nonlinear model depending of one modifying factor to study the dependence of the PAPOVA virus reduction factor to the irradiant dose. In this model, least squares estimates of the parameters are obtained using the linearization method with the initial guesses values. An extension of the initial exponential model is proposed when the viral material is influenced by some modifying factors.

6-Mercaptopurine riboside (6-MF'r) is used as a cytostatic chemotherapeutic. The teratogenic potential in rodents has been well known for several decades. In this study, the teratogenic risk of low doses of 6-MPr in NMRI mice was estimated based on a dose-response study. The effective doses correspo

## Abstract Cancers of the upper aeroโ€digestive tract (__i.e.,__ oral cavity, pharynx, larynx and oesophagus) are largely attributable to smoking and drinking habits, but the correct estimation of the doseโ€response relationship between alcohol and cancer risk is challenging.
