โœฆ Synopsis


PD measiirements are used to ensure the reliability of a GIs. A risk evaluation is only possible, i f the emitted PD signal at the defect, the transfer behaviour of the CIS and the coupling of the signals are well-known. Diagnostic measuring techniques are mentioned as well as the problems of determining a transfer function for these methods. Experimental and theoretical studies on realistic PD currents show the limits of the diagnostic techniques for quantitative measurements.
