This is a paperback version of an original Dutch title published in 1989. It is an attractively produced book and covers the phenomenology of the anxiety disorders and their behavioural management quite well, illustrating aspects of management with pertinent clinical vignettes. A problem for many practitioners with the book will be the fact that the views expressed on the pharmacological management of the various conditions described-OCD, Social Phobia, Panic Disorder and GAP-are somewhat dated.
