Abstract

Applications of jet pumps. Nowadays jet pumps are economically used in many branches of industry. The versatility of these simply constructed devices is demonstrated for the various kinds of jet pumps. The construction and mode of operation of the pumps is briefly explained, and those advantages which have ensured a wide acceptance of these pumps are presented. Moreover, reference is made to fundamental publications concerned with the design and computation of jet pumps.
