## Abstract Five daphnane type diterpenes have been isolated from the chloroform soluble fraction of __Daphne genkwa.__ The structure of the new compound (1) was assigned as 5β‐hydroxyresiniferonol‐6Ξ±,7α‐epoxy‐12β‐acetoxy‐9,13,14‐__ortho__‐2__E__‐decenoate by extensive NMR studies.
