## ABSTRACT Antimicrobial peptides are important effector molecules of the innate immune system. Here, we describe that peptides derived from the heparin‐binding disulfide‐constrained loop region of human __ß__‐amyloid precursor protein are antimicrobial. The peptides investigated were linear and c
