Comparison was made for glyoxal-and glutaraldehyde-treated cotton fabrics. Crosslinking efficiency between cellulose and dialdehyde measured by wrinkle recovery angle was higher with glutaraldehyde than with glyoxal. This disparity was presumably due to different forms of two dialdehydes in aqueous
