## Abstract Four aromatic diamines containing aliphatic spacers and __Meta__ and __para__ oriented oxyphenylene rings, and their corresponding hydrochlorides, were combined with isophthaloyl chloride (IPC) and terephthaloyl chloride (TPC) to give high molecular weight polyamides by interfacial and
