## Abstract ^13^C NMR chemical shifts of three types of unbranched alkyn‐1‐ols were measured and assigned: alk‐2‐yn‐1‐ols, ω‐alkyn‐1‐ols and β€˜internal’ alkyn‐1‐ols. The derived OH shift increments depend on the number of CH~2~ groups between the triple bond and the OH group.
