We investigated the specificity of circulating autoantibodies to a heterogeneous nuclear ribonuclear protein A1 (hnRNP Al), obtained by recombinant DNA technique, in different rheumatic diseases: systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), scleroderma, primary Sjogren's syndrome (
