An experimental and theoretical study was performed on the anti-staphylococcal activity of 18 natural and synthetic #avonoids against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus strains. The analysed #avonoids belong to three well-di!erentiated structural patterns: chalcones, #avanones and #avones.
