We have observed enhanced anomalous resistivity, typically 9 V cm, given by large amplitude fluctuations of electric Ž . field ) 10 kVrcm during the current limiting phase of a high-voltage linear plasma discharge. The behaviors of the power spectral density show dominant role of nonlinear lower hybrid modes played in the current limitation.
