✦ Synopsis
For stable systems the heat conduction due to the charge carriers in a weakly ionized plasma of electrons, ions and neutral atoms is studied in the presence of a strong external magnetic field. A kinetic theory description is given in terms of transport-relaxation equations derived from the linearized Boltzmann equation. Only collisions with neutral particles are taken into account, the interaction between charged particles is described by a fluctuating electric field. By use of a weak coupling approximation the renormalized coefficients of heat conductivity are calculated. For the perpendicular part of the electronic heat conductivity an anomalous II-" behavior is found (a =
