The stnff coniprisctl 124 persons, including 24 qunlifictl rescnrch nssistiints, 23 aiisiliary laborntory assistants, and 6 lieads of dcpartnients, the remainder being nienibcrs of the ndministmtiw, editorial rind office staffs, drniightsmcn, workmen, ctc. The constriiction of speci:il buildings for tlic pctroloum nnd mctnllurgicnl sections lins I)ecn commenced, ns well as prcliminnry work on the creation of n rlepnrtinent for tlie production of nnnlytical rengcnts.
