After a distinguished tenure as the founding Editor-in-Chief of Chirality, Dr. Irving W. Wainer has relinquished the responsibilities of Editorship. We are pleased that Dr. Wainer will remain closely associated with Chirality in his role as a Consulting Editor.
We are pleased to announce that Professors Daniel W. Armstrong and William F. Trager are to join Professor John Caldwell in serving as Co-Editors of Chirality. Their appointment takes effect with this issue. Manuscripts and editorial correspondence should be sent to Professors Caldwell, Trager or Armstrong. To assist authors, the general areas of responsibility of each of the Editors are as follows:
Professor John Caldwell: Editor in Europe with particular responsibility for the pharmacology and toxicology of chiral compounds.
Professor Daniel W. Armstrong: Editor in North America with particular responsibility for analytical and preparative synthetic chemistry of chiral compounds.
Professor William Trager: Editor in North America with particular responsibility for medicinal chemistry and biological aspects of chiral compounds.
