On behalf of the editorial board of JSPI, and also the authors, the readers, and the world scientiΓΏc community, I would like to thank Professor Subir Ghosh for the highly superlative work done by him in the above capacity. In his time, the submission rate rose considerably, and his painstaking hard work to handle the same is exemplary.
I would also like to thank all the editorial board members who have worked with Professor Ghosh. They are truly the people who have helped maintain the journal's high quality.
As has been the JSPI tradition, all papers submitted to Professor Ghosh during his term will continue to be handled by him (and the editorial board members involved), until their processing is ΓΏnished. The same would be true of the incoming Executive Editor, when his term has ended. On all submission (of 'regular' papers, i.e., those papers which are not meant for a special issue), the authors should always approach the Executive Editor to whom the paper was submitted.
I also take this opportunity to welcome Professor Stufken, and request all concerned to extend their fullest cooperation to him.
