The 1997 European Public Choice Society Meetings will take place in Prague (Chech Republic), Wednesday till Saturday, April 2 to April 5, in the conference complex of the Prague University of Economics. Sightseeing in Prague and at a near-by historic town is included in the program, with additional options. The theme of the conference is a public choice approach to economics. This being the first time the meetings are held in a post-communist country, it is expected that transition, privatization, future integration with the EU, and similar issues will be among those addressed by some of the participants.
