Abstract

The magnetic after‐effect, the induced uniaxial anisotropy, and the squareness ratio‐three phenomena due to the directional order‐have been investigated in the ferrite system Li~0.45~Mn~x~ Fe~2. 55βˆ’x~0~4+y~. The important role played by Mn^3+^ ions in the directional order formation has been show, resulting from a contribution to the magnetocrystalline anisotropy of Mn^3+^ ions. The elementary coupling energy of the Mn^3+^ ion to the lattice has been calculated.
