Abstract
The aim of this article is to prove Poincaré‐type inequalities concerning functions in Sobolev spaces with anisotropic weights that appear in the investigation of the Oseen equations. The inequalities are a generalization and an extension of inequalities we established in a previous work. As an application, we derive existence result and anisotropically weighted L^p^ estimates for the pressure of the Oseen problem in ℝ^3^. (© 2006 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
