In experiments on nonlinear-optical transmission of picosecond laser pulses at the wavelength of 1.064 ฮผm threeorder-of-magnitude enhancement of the photoinduced absorption in optically anisotropic mesoporous silicon films compared to crystalline silicon (c-Si) was found.
