Anionic polymerization of 2-(tert-butylamino)ethyl methacrylate (tBAEMA), which bears an unprotected secondary amine moiety, has been investigated in THF at 078ЊC. The presence of lithium chloride has been shown to be desirable to afford narrow molecular weight distribution as well as a good agreeme

✦ Synopsis
Vinylferrocene was polymerized by means of anionic initiators such as n-BuLi, s-BuLi and distyryl disodium in tetrahydrofuran as solvent. In all cases the polymerization shows the characteristics of a living polymerization. Depending on the sequence of the monomer addition, either block copolymers of the ABA or the AB type were synthesized.

## Abstract **Summary:** Novel well‐defined block copolymers composed of polystyrene, poly(2‐vinylpyridine), poly(ethylene oxide), or poly(__tert__‐butyl methacrylate) as the first block and poly(__N__,__N__‐dialkylacrylamide) (PDAlAAm) as the second block were synthesized by ligated anionic polyme
The triblock copolymers of poly(dipheny1-b-dimethyl-b-dipheny1)siloxane (PMP) and poly(diphenyl-b-dimethyl-co-methylvinyl-b-diphenyl)siloxane (PMVP) have been synthesized by the dianionic polymerization procedure. The polymerization of the cyclotetrasiloxane monomers initiated by lithium-based initi
