## Abstract The motor effects of the partial dopamine agonist EMD 49980 were evaluated in parkinsonian patients under controlled conditions. EMD 49980 monotherapy resulted in a mild improvement in parkinsonian symptoms, but when co‐administered with levodopa, had no significant effect on dyskinesia
