Abstract
In this mini review, we strive to highlight the opportunities that exist for the use of aniline oligomeric species in functional materials by reviewing the current state‐of‐the‐art of the various synthetic strategies, as well as the growing number of publications where more complex block‐like architectures have been shown. Areas for further investigation and possible future development are highlighted as well.
