Abstract
It has been shown by Starr that net absolute angular momentum cannot be advected by axisymmetric motions alone across a closed surface of constant absolute angular momentum. Hence it has been claimed that certain systems possessing differential rotation about a central axis must be nonβaxisymmetric. The theorem is analysed in detail and such a conclusion is shown to be invalid.

## Abstract In this paper, we propose a new method to concatenate two dynamic fullβbody motions such as punches, kicks, and flips by using the angular momentum as a cue. Through the observation of real humans, we have identified two patterns of angular momentum that make the transition of such moti
