Only a few short weeks remain until the new generation of leaders assumes power over the Angondran factions. Taig and Tara, Reina and Ari, Mirin and Taman work feverishly with their parents to shoulder the responsibility of leading Angondra into a new era of peace and cooperation. Now all the original human women and their Alpha mates converge on Harbeiz, the Ursidrean capitol city, to celebrate their holiday traditions. Ancient conflicts rear their heads and threaten to mar this otherwise joyful time. To complicate matters, both Piwaka and Aquilla accompany their human mates to the gathering. How will Aquilla handle his first visit to Ursidrean territory? Will close contact with his age-old enemies spark another generation of war and hate? How has Piwaka greeted the news that Aquilla’s son Roshin plans to take control of the Avitras faction? Will the two men come to blows if anyone mentions Roshin’s name? While the women struggle to combine their differences into a celebration everyone can enjoy, the fate of the planet hangs in the balance.
